Top Cryptocurrencies in World Prices Today in India (May 20, 2022): The global crypto market capitalization has recovered 2.87% in the last 24 hours. At the time of writing, the global crypto market capitalization was $1.28 trillion, according to data from CoinMarketCap. Bitcoin price also broke through the $30,000 barrier, reaching $30,161 at the time of writing.

The volume of the global cryptocurrency market in the past 24 hours decreased by 0.46% to $82 billion. Total DeFi volume was $7.42 billion, or 9.04% of the total 24-hour crypto market volume. The stablecoin volume was $72.98 billion, or 88.94% of the total 24-hour crypto market volume.

The price of Bitcoin has increased by 3.31% in the past 24 hours. Meanwhile, Bitcoin’s dominance as the leading crypto asset increased by 0.14% to 44.83% during the day. The overall price of Bitcoin has decreased by 1.4% over the past 7 days.

Even though Bitcoin and several other top altcoins have recovered some of their lost price over the past day, experts are of the view that a rapid recovery in the crypto markets is not happening anytime soon.

“Bitcoin, Ethereum and other altcoins were moving in tandem with the equity market. Bearish sentiment on Wall Street spilled over to crypto markets as well. Just a day after US Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell, said the 50 basis point rate hikes would continue to keep inflation in check, markets reacted with a risk-free approach,” Darshan Bathija, CEO and co-founder of Vauld, told FE Online.

“A rapid recovery in the crypto market would be unlikely unless macro conditions improve,” he added.

Ethereum (ETH): Ethereum price rose 3.44% to $2,021 in the past 24 hours. In the past 7 days, the price of ETH has decreased by 2.98%. It is currently ranked the second crypto asset by market capitalization.

Binance (BNB): The Binance coin price rose 4.39% to $308 in the past 24 hours. Over the past 7 days, the price of BNB has increased by 0.85%. It is currently ranked the fifth largest crypto asset by market capitalization.

XRP: The price of the XRP coin has decreased by 6.01% to $0.435 in the last 24 hours. In the past 7 days, the price of XRP has decreased by 2.02%. It is currently ranked 6th among crypto assets by market capitalization.

Solana (SOL): Solana price increased by 1.53% to $51.72 in the last 24 hours. In the past 7 days, the price of SOL has increased by 2.98%. It is currently ranked 9th among crypto assets by market capitalization.
